Saul Berson, local jazz saxophone freelance musician, and Michelle Carlisle, member of two local Celtic bands, together are a duo that performs for intimate gatherings like Christmas parties, romantic cocktail parties, weddings, birthdays and anniversaries, art galleries, seniors’ centres, concerts, cruises, conventions, and many other possibilities. Saul and Michelle are both members of the Vancouver Musicians’ Association (Local 145).

Between them, Michelle and Saul play multiple instruments including flute, piano, alto and tenor sax, and clarinet.  The duo have a set list reminiscent of the classy days of years gone by, and bring those eras to vivid life once again. They feel that certain songs never lose their shine, and have crafted their set list to reflect this. Please see below for a partial song list; only a few tunes from an extensive repertoire.

In addition, Caviar & Lace also play folk music from around the world; from Italy to the Philippines, China, Portugal, Greece, Scotland, Israel and Ireland, and so much more.

Whether on centre stage entertaining audiences,
